We’re somehow a month into '22
Earlier this morning I received a newsletter with the opening: We’re somehow a month into '22. And I realised it's already that day of the month when I need to do my monthly review.
January just flew away.
It has been overwhelming, but oddly satisfying.
This has been the month when I spread myself a bit much, being unproductive. But I also put a step forward towards being better organised in non-client works. Have to make 23 more spreadsheets (or Trello boards maybe).
For now, spread my clients on a sheet, upon Anmol's suggestion. He's been helping me organise all the scattered pieces of my “business.” And I was surprised I've worked with almost 50 clients in the last 4 years.
OK, now...
worked on 5 projects
pitched 4 prospects; 2 replied, none converted
got a lead for branding strategy (yet to finalise)
co-hosted a Twitter Space on branding Listen to recording
published one article - Ten Startup Lessons from The Bohri Kitchen
Also, built a landing page, for a “business” newsletter, with Carrd. It’s quick. Easy? Yes, that too. Carrd feels like a terrific tool for one-page websites.
For only $19 a year, you can build and host multiple one-page websites with Carrd. Want to try? (referral link)
Oh, on that note, I also tried Heritage Designer.
Not sure what all I can cook with it, but loving it. It's apt for creating vintage-looking logos, banners and posts. Get instant access (referral link) and unlock 3 projects
Even managed to:
read 3 books
watch 10+ movies
14 days of Wordle
OK, I guess I'm fainting now.
Will see you with another irregular newsletter soon. 🐼
