Ever played 2048? Here's a screenshot to stir some sparks.
It's simple. You've to slide the tiles: left/right/up/down. When a tile hits another with the same number, they merge to form one with the sum of the numbers.
You win when you get a tile with 2048.
Last week I was addicted to it. Played it, just this game, whenever I had free time. Swiping madly to have the tile 2048. The charm broke after 6-7 days. How?
The highest I could ever reach was 1024.
Then, one evening I saw another variant of the game. It was titled 4096. Instead of the 4x4 layout of 2048, it had a 5x5 layout.
Here's a screenshot.
I thought I'll be able to reach 2048 in this one. Installed it right away.
Played it incessantly for over an hour. I did get the tile 2048. And I got the tile 4096 too. Won the game, set the phone aside and went to sleep.
Next morning, it no more felt interesting enough
