Heyaa
Itās another Sunday of me not giving up on writing my newsletter. Yep, lately, Iām having second thoughts regarding whether to continue writing this. I donāt even know why I do this.
I have no idea why I share my thoughts here. Random thoughts with no value.
But then, somewhere long in the past, these random thoughts made me a writer, an accidental writer.
Anyway, itās Sunday. 7.31 AM. And Iām crumpled inside a shawl. Not that itās chilly outside. I like the warmth of a shawl on autumn mornings.
Maybeā¦ I write because somewhere along the process, I get new ideas. Itās like my testing ground. You canāt do tests on client projects, after all.
And one newsletter after another, Iām still here.
Reminded me of something I read in HeyEmotions newsletter. I donāt remember which post, though. Here, I fished it from my notes:
Every week, Iām focused on taking the next step, that is, writing the article of that week. I donāt worry about next weekās article at all. I donāt think of how Iāll come up with next weekās topic. Or how Iāll write well.
And thatās how my newsletter is.
Just the next step. Start with some random thoughts and swim in the chain of thoughts, noting them down. Oh, I wish now to get into a swimming pool with a floating table for my laptop.
This lack of planning skills is why Iām not a Content Strategist yet, even after seven years of professional writing under my tummy.
Reminded me of something I āplannedā a few months ago. To add to my store.
Stickers.
Tried that time. Couldnāt design them in an aesthetic, printer-friendly way at that time.
But while writing the newsletter, I got an idea. And this is one sticker I got preparedā¦ an hour later.
Entirely with Canva. Had to mix and match ideas from a bunch of YouTube tutorials. And it was worth the time. Thatās what I do. I read, and I hunt for workarounds.
As Ernest Hemingway says.
āNow is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what there is.ā
Thatās how it is for me. Not to wait for the right time. Just do whatever you can. And if it excites youā¦ learn and do it better.
Hopping into all different activities, my store has been neglected for two months now. Trying to get back to it this month actively.
I did make a few bucks from it in another way. I went corporate.
Actually, an uncle came to know about this tshirt business of mine. He runs a few sweet shops and cafes here.
That day, I just did a logo tshirt for myself. (Thatās a whole another story)
Showed him the tshirt. He liked the quality. And after a test order, he gave me a bulk order for his staff tshirts with business logo.
Made the first ābusinessā deal with a human. My operations had been strictly online, you knowā¦ until then.
Now, once I can expand my store products, I might even be able to offer corporate swag and gift packs. Need to save this as a future business idea.
I did a test, by the way. For Anmolās Bizlite.
It seems to have turned out fine.
Under Bizlite, Anmol had been working on digital business cards for business owners. Restaurants, clothing stores, grocery stores, or any retail outlet owner can use them.
He shipped his first batch of cards to customers this week. And Iām waiting for mine, too.
Maybe itās time I should grow offline and be more physically involved.
Soon, soon.
I have nothing else to say now. Have to finish designing some stickers. Follow me on Instagram for updates if you feel like.
Bidding adieu.
Live long and prosper.
See you next week, with another story.
