Here comes my month-end nit-picking
Heyaa, how you doin'?
As lazy and messy as me? 😬
Ya, my month was a hot, big pot of mess. I wanted to do so many things, that I ended up missing most.
I wanted to read books, I wanted to read more books, I began writing 2-3 articles (all half-written), I wanted to watch more movies, I had plans to pitch prospects, I had to reconnect with some clients, I had to redesign this newsletter… And 153 other things.
The lazy genes were moving the wheels… slowly. Couldn't achieve much.
Had a few good moments though -
Moved to EmailOctopus as my newsletter service
Set up a squeeze page on my website itself, along with the public archive
Read 2 books and completed 2 others which I picked up in February/March
Two of the books - After the Crash and Pachinko - are fiction. Both had a storyline full of twists.
Another book was The Daily Stoic… with 366 quotes about Stoicism. If you want to learn and practice Stoicism, this book can be your starting point.
Next, I came across Creative Confidence, a book full of stories of different companies. The writer duo - Tom Kelley and David Kelley - revealed how those companies solved problems by a creative shift in the mindset.
As I felt creatively down, the book gave me a creative boost.
Apart from those, this month I launched a digital product on Gumroad - Lazy Library. It's a Notion board with my collection of writing and marketing articles, tools and other resources. 😁
I had the collection on Trello; moved it to Notion now. Notion looks better scalable. So, in case I want to expand the resources (and I will), Notion seems a better option. The board already has 250+ links to different articles and other tools.
Get the Lazy Library from Gumroad. You can pay whatever you want to. :)
Then, this month, I got approved as a publisher on Flipboard. So, now you can read my website content as a digital magazine.
And that marks the end to this month's review. Thanks for reading through all this crap.
P. S. I also watched FRIENDS Reunion, and I couldn't stop the tears. Was it the same for you?
