Heyaa!
This is the fourth time Iām re-starting todayās newsletter draft.
I scraped off my words thrice. Deleted 500+ words in total. Ripped from my consciousness.
Havenāt been able to capture my thoughts well. Part of the problem is that I canāt find a proper background song to set the mood.
But I need to write this. Itās too early to skip my weekly schedule of one newsletter.
Maybe six months and three weeks later, one missed newsletter wonāt affect me much. Iāll still be able to resume.
Right now, if I skip, I will probably procrastinate.
Before we move forward, let me introduce you to todayās newsletter sponsor.

OK, back to my storyā¦
Now, this thought, āBe someoneās blog post.ā came to me a few months ago. And I wanted to write a blog on the topic. But couldnāt get back to it again.
Itās a part of a longer thought:
āIn a world of one-liners, be someoneās value-adding blog post.ā
So, what does that mean?
Weāre consuming a lot of teensy-weensy content. Reels-binger, are you? Did I hear a yes?
So, does that mean we should focus on creating only short content? Not necessarily.
Even when people are binging Reels and Shorts, creators are making long-form videos. Channels are uploading hour-long documentaries. And the audience is consuming.
You can write 300 words on a topicā¦ and you can write 3,000; each format caters to a different need.
The 300-word piece will be extremely specific, while the 3,000-word article will be an explainer. A pillar page that provides an overview of everything relevant, linking to other 300-, 500-, 800- and 1500-word content.
I have these tiny bursts of thoughts which I collect and arrange. Sometimes, they fit in a tweet. At other times, they need a platform like this to pour out.
Donāt say you donāt like to read long content. Youāve survived this newsletter until this point. And that shows you can keep your focus under control.
As long as the content is interesting and resonating, the audience will consume it.
So, even when the world is full of Loom videos and 5-step chat messages, you can be a blog post. People will wait for you if you provide valueā¦ if you're contextualā¦ if you engage them.
And thatās all I have for today.
Bidding adieu.
Live long and prosper.
See you next week, with another story.
PSā¦ I found a song to vibe with. Here it is:
